PantryPathList
PantryPathList is a weekly meal planner that builds an aisle-sorted grocery list from a built-in recipe library, entirely on your device. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
PantryPathList does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
Information we collect
None. The app has no account system, no sign-in and no analytics. We never ask for your name, email address, contacts, location or any other personal detail. The optional display name and avatar you can set inside the app stay on your device and are never sent anywhere.
Data stored on your device
To make the app work, PantryPathList stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:
- Your weekly meal plan — which recipes are assigned to which day and meal slot.
- Your grocery list: generated items, custom items you add, and their checked state.
- Recipes you mark as favourites and recipes you mark as cooked.
- Your display name and chosen avatar.
- Your preferences: default serving size, week start day, dietary filter and calorie display.
- Achievement progress and a one-time flag recording that you finished the intro screens.
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to PantryPathList or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.
Permissions
The Android build declares only the INTERNET permission that ships with Flutter's default project template; the app never uses it, because it makes no network requests. No other runtime permissions are requested — no camera, location, microphone, contacts, photos or external storage. The iOS build declares no permission usage descriptions at all.
Network use
The app is fully offline. It contains no networking code, contacts no server, API or cloud service, and neither downloads nor uploads any data. The recipe library ships inside the app itself.
Third-party services
No analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or attribution SDKs are integrated. The app uses only local open-source libraries (state management, local databases, charts and animation helpers), none of which transmit data. It also includes a "Share app" button that opens your device's standard system share sheet — that sheet is provided by your operating system, and PantryPathList passes it nothing but a short promotional message about the app.
Children's privacy
PantryPathList is safe for all ages. Because it collects no data whatsoever, there is nothing to knowingly collect from a child under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and nothing that could be shared or sold. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases and no external links to content we do not control.
Your rights
Since nothing you create ever leaves your device, there is no server-side copy of your data for us to access, correct, export or delete. You are in full control: clear individual items in the app, use your device's "Clear storage" option for the app, or uninstall it to erase everything at once.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
